One of The Community Garage's members, Jerry R., spent the weekend in a micro-internship with Downforce Media. Jerry worked alongside Jeremy Bryner in the field as his production assistant to gain valuable insight into how a professional motorsports photographer earns his living.
Jerry was able to learn a ton from Jeremy who showed him advanced techniques to capture those amazing images Downforce is known to produce. The cool Kentucky weather gave Jerry a very real-world experience of what it takes to get the job done.
On Sunday Jerry was floored with a special gift. Jeremy loaned him the very first pro-grade camera that he used to start off his own career. Jerry later confessed, "That was so cool; I've never even held a real camera before today."
The Community Garage sends out a huge thanks to Jeremy for taking Jerry under his wing and sharing some of his expertise. Young Jerry couldn't get that smile off his face - it was such a great time!
